During the in-class portion of the RV Exterior Systems course, students will deepen their understanding of electric and hydraulic slide-out and leveling systems through focused instruction on assessment, diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques. The course provides a comprehensive look at the mechanical and electrical operation of these systems, equipping students with the skills needed to identify faults and perform effective repairs. Students will also study RV construction methods, learning to identify common materials and techniques used in roof and sidewall assembly. Additionally, the course covers the essential components of the RV running gear—including axles, suspensions, and tires—providing insight into how each part contributes to overall vehicle performance and safety.
